Permaculture Design
Just like your body, the place where you live has its own rhythm and its own language. When you learn to listen to your land, it becomes easier to work with it and with nature, rather than against them.
Permaculture is about designing sustainable gardens, farms and whole living environments that mimic and make use of nature’s own processes. The result is land that grows richer every year while asking less of you.

Place reading
A reading of your place in which I combine my intuition with my knowledge of permaculture. I listen to what the place wants, how the energy flows and how it could be developed.
You’ll receive both what the place is communicating and concrete first steps you can take.

Have you worked through my handbook Design Your Own Place, or created your design some other way? Share it with me and I’ll give you personal feedback.
Permaculture concept design
I’ll create a concept design for your land based on what you send me: zones, sectors and where the key elements should be placed. You’ll get a solid foundation to build on.
You’ll need to share a map and photos or video of your place. I’ll then get back to you with a recording and a written summary.
About me – Johanna
I’m trained in Ecopedagogy and certified permaculture designer. I’ve run a smallholding with sheep, chickens, ducks and horses. I know what it’s like to carry water in February, to watch the first green shoots of spring appear, and to learn from and with the land.
In my experience, a place and a body speak the same language. Both heal and thrive at their own pace when given the right conditions. That’s why I approach your place with both heart and knowledge.
