Healing Wool art
I have choosen a slow, hand-carried way of working and I let the energy and my inspiration guide me. Every creation is unique, shaped with a healing intention and with respect for all living beings.
Each piece is created entirely by hand, naturally and free from toxins. I shear the sheep myself and then wash, card, dye and felt the wool.
I dye the wool using Oeko‑Tex 100 certified colours and felt it with organic olive soap. My intention is to use the material fully, without waste or unnecessary additives, allowing the wool to remain as close to its natural state as possible.
The wool has amazing qualitites such as antibacteriel, keep warmth and is hypoalergenic and self-cleaning.
When I card the wool, I preserve some of the natural curls. This keeps the wool alive and vibrant, contributing to the distinctive character of every piece.
